I want to add neon tubes underneath my car, but I only want them to come on when I remote start my car with my alarm and then once I start driving I want them to turn off.  Is this possible.

Thanks

Wire them through a relay using the second ign output for the remote start as a trigger.

If I do it that way will that be the only time that they come on?

Wire it like this: Look at this relay for the numbers

86 to ign/ or constant (ign if you dont want to leave
                         them on by accident)

85 to the 2nd ign output* AND to a swith grounded on
                           the other side
30 to contant
87 to the neons

* put a diode on this wire with the BAND towards the 2nd ign trigger wire. The switch connection need to made between that diode and the relay. So.. attach the switch and the non-banded side of the diode to the relay and then the banded side connect to the 2nd trigger.

Hope this helps

?
That's why I put that switch going to ground. Flipping the switch will ground out the trip lead of the relay turning on the neons. When the 2nd ign wire goes negitive (during remote start)it will turn on the neons also.
