new member from uk lincolnshire hello to all.

i request if possible the wiring for pke alarm remote start on a 2005 brabus smart roadster coupe.

factory imobiliser on car can remain as is, but if theres an option please advise.

all basic wiring for install is on the back of sam unit under drivers dash.

so basic install to start for other options i will later post on this thread.

thanks in advance.

First this vehicle is a right PITA to work on unless you get that fuse box unit right out of the car, whilst you're working on it the sill is pushing you in the rib cage!
Suggest battery disconnect, steering wheel and chair removal then stand car on its tail!
It took my colleague about 2 hours just to get a trunk (boot) trigger wire through the car.
We also had nightmares trying to emulate a remote start, I think you're looking at a 556U or similar. What make of R/S alarm are you installing?

I just wasted 1 1/2 hrs. wandering through Fleabay, couldn't find it! Make and model perhaps though I should warn you that you should NEVER buy anything electrical that way, too many problems with quality, warranties and comebacks.
I think you had to turn off the factory immobiliser with the key fob, no other way round it, therefore remote start not doable.

Done them here in the USA, had to use a 556U to work. I don't know of any modules designed for Smart...

Yes Mike but here in the UK with right hand drive, the steering wheel and pedals are in the way of the fuse box/body control unit.
Finally got to see the alrm, it looks like an old model carvox/magicar, good luck.

Don't worry Ted, the car itself is one big headache in a small package.
