So i was told at the dealership, that my car didnt come equipped with a keyless entry, so i was pretty much forced to go aftermarket route. So i got this "ebay special" alarm system, i know i know "it's cheap" and "you get what you pay for" etc. Here's the problem though, i hooked it up to work as the keyless entry with the factory alarm, so basically lock wire, unlock wire, ground and +12v. It works fine and everything, but it has a built in feature, to where you hit the "unlock" button and if you dont open the door within 25 seconds, the system arms and locks the doors. The problem i'm having is it does that all that time even if the car is already on within 25 seconds of unlocking it. Now i do understand there's a wire i didnt connect to the door switch i guess, but this is where i'm lost, i cant locate the door switch anywhere arond the door( sounds stupid, i know), and i cant understand the wiring diagram provided with the system, either. If you guys can help me out here, I would really appreciate it.

Here's the wiring diagram for the alarm system
Thanks for any help!

you need to connect the igniton wire. this tells the unit the key is on or someone is inside(and car is being used) it wont lock.

All your door contacts (triggers) are under the rear seat, are all primary brown with grey, blue, yellow etc and have silver dots and go to the unit's blue wire. No the diagramme is not unreadable, it's all wrong and pray tell but I'm guessing its the white wire shown going nowhere on the starter cut relay, also just for a laugh look at the red wire. There's another white marked accessory that should go to ignition.
Your car colours are green ignition and blue and white to join to the browns. What incidentally is the point of the orange wire going to the brake switch? I would throw this piece of junk away because you do get what you pay for in this case nothing.

Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

      Whatever Howie said ahah,
he knows BMWs inside out, Literally.
If you got a better diagram, we would help you, but i must say eBay units...the worst thing you can buy. ------------- Ted
