Red should be constant. There might be a RED / Black that is constant too. This should help you. Looks like you hooked up the wrong wire. (I know pink and red look close in color on GM vehicles) Pink is ignition 1. https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/alarmdetail/1868.html

Side note- You should not be guessing at the wires. Refer to a wiring sheet like above and always test with a meter no matter what. These wiring sheets are not always right.

Too add to the above comments, as a pro I wouldn't touch this without a diagramme. Do you hate your wife that much.
Any one working with me tried that trick they would be out of that door without their feet touching the ground.
Do you even have a meter or a 12volt stabilised bench power supply?

Your last chance would be to send a photo, with the looms plugged in and hope that someone recognises it. Shame I'm 3000+ miles away, I'd have it on the bench and get most of the wiring.
The next stage would be programming. Frankly I would suggest you bin it. What you are doing is so dangerous, it's bad practice if a pro you would be liable for all sorts of legal problems, hence out of the door if it was someone working for me, also and I note you've been asked this question twice now, do you have a DMM?

If you spent two years researching for info on this, I would have just left it alone and purchased a newer unit to install, instead of the headaches you are having.  But hey,...thats just me.

All you've shown us are a bunch of relays that can be set up any way you want! I've got some like that about 10years old!
The sheet of paper refers to an incomplete list for the car. What a complete waste of time. Yes we are smarter than you which is why we wouldn't bother.

No you are asking to be spoon fed.
for a third time.
If the vehicle already had a key less entry system, then your alarm is adequate.
If not you will need a pair of relay.
All of this info is available on this site just bloody look!

So you were too stupid to go to vehicle wiring and see that are were TWO ways to do this on your vehicle I know you aren't fitting KE, the vehicle has one method if you have a KE vehicle, another if you don't. Can't you even understand that or are you too lazy to look.

You should thank Howie for the sarcastic responses that made you look for your answers in that case.

From what I observe he is quite patient with people that try to apply his suggestions or answer his questions when he's trying to support them.
