2005 Chevy Suburban

Attempting to install a Viper VSS3000 Smartstart with DLPKGM. The VSS3000 appears to be equivalent to

a Avital 4103 with a DSM200.

I've have literally read the forums for 3 days to try and get as much info as possible. I've run

across posts where people state that the the 2003-2006 GM fullsize trucks have been discussed hundreds

of times on the forum. See 8th

post in this thread for an example

I have searched for "suburban" "vss3000" "dlpkgm" "yukon" "tahoe" "smartstart" "vss4000" and spent

countless hours reading unrelated posts.

What I'm looking for is this:

I'd like to hook up the VSS3000 to the vehicle. Which wires are needed to be connected (assuming I'll

be using D2D with the DLPKGM).

The VSS3000 has the following connections:

The DLPKGM has the following connections:

I'm looking at this wiring diagram:
2003-2005

Chevrolet Suburban Wiring Diagram

I'm guessing this:

Remote Start ----> Vehicle
--------------------------
H2/1 Pink    ----> Ignition 1 Pink (+) in Ignition switch harness
H2/2 Purple ----> Starter Yellow (+) in Ignition switch harness
H2/3 Orange ----> ACCESSORY /HEATER Blower 1 Orange in Ignition switch harness
H2/4 Red     ----> 12 Volt Constant Red (+) in Ignition switch harness
H2/5 Pink/White -> Ignition 2 White (+) in Ignition switch harness
H2/6 Red     ----> 12 Volt Constant Red (+) in Ignition switch harness

DLKPGM       ----> Vehicle
--------------------------
Purple       ----> OBD2-Pin 2
Pink        ----> Ignition 1 Pink (+) in Ignition switch harness

DLKPGM       ----> Remote Start
-------------------------------
Green        ----> ????? (Door trigger)
Violet/White ----> H3/2 Violet/White
D2D Port     ----> D2D Port

Is anything else required to be connected?

Does anything else really need to be hooked up when using the DLPKGM in D2D mode?

I appreciate any help that cen be provided.

Ok.. maybe a couple more connections?

H1/6 Brown      ----> BLACK / YELLOW wire at steering column harness
H1/8 Black      ----> Ground

H3/1 BLACK/ White----> Ground
H3/2 Violet/White---> DLKPGM Violet/White
H3/3 Brown      ----> Brake Pedal Switch White
H3/4 Gray       ----> Hood Pin Switch

Still not sure about the DLKPGM Green wire. Does that go to pin 3 (green) on the Door Lock, 3-Pin connector of the R/S?

Thanks for any help!

that's gotta be everything?

the green is not needed since you arent installing an alarm. the PURPLE / white connects to PURPLE / white for tach. everything else is D2D. i would also connect the parking lights (H1/9) to the brown wire in the drivers kick. i used a DLPKGM tonite and it did everything but parking lights
