I have a 2010 Ford fusion sport AWD. I want to intall a one-button remote start only unit in the vehicle. I haven't decided if I will use the viper or python unit yet, they seem to be virtually the same. I know I will need the bypass for the immobilizer no matter which I choose, my question is regarding the factory passive alarm. Will I need to connect the "disarm factory alarm" wire on the unit to my vehicle? If so, wiring codes I have found here and elsewhere say disarm is with factory key fob only, so how would I go about doing this? I wasn't sure if the bypass for the key immobilizer took care of this or not. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

I've only done a few fusions but I've done a bunch of Lincoln mkz's which are the same. You don't need to hook up a disarm wire doing a single button start. When the car see's ignition and a valid key signal it disarms the alarm.
------------- If i Can't Install it I Don't need it Joe
