Hello everyone I'm installing a avital 4003L add on remote start on a 2003 Silverado with a fortin int-sl+ data bypass and does nothing I'm out of ideas . He what got so far: heavy gauge:primary ignition to pink/secondary ignition to white / starter output to yellow/ 12v input to red power / 12v to RED / white power under column. 5 pin harness: neutral safety wire to ground/ brake activation wire to white at brake pedal/ 9 pin harness: black ground to ground/ activation input wire to grey door lock wire behind fuse panel . Bypass : obd2 purple wire to purple wire in obd2 port / 12 v input to red wire in harness/ and black ground to ground . The bypass led stays on and the remote start led blinks then goes out , I hear no noises or any indication that it tries to start, any help would be appreciated because it does nothing .

Seems to me that there should be more wires connected from the INT-SL+.  If you connected the Red to +12V and the Black to
Chassis Ground, then I guess you are going W2W and not D2D.   In that case you also need the Blue (-) When Running wire
going to the 4003L's Blue (-) Status Output.  How about the (+) Ignition input and the Parking Light wire?  Did the INT-SL+ program
correctly?

On the 4003L side of things, why not connect the thick Orange ACC1 wire to the truck?  Are you running in Tach Mode?  Did you
program the Tach signal?  Did you test the Gray Door Lock wire you are using as the activation input?  Think the 4003 is looking
for a (-) signal as an input, not a +12V pulse.

Ok I connected the blue(-) when running wire to 4003's status (-) output then connected the ignition (+) input to the primary ignition in column the, parking light wire from the rs to int-sl+ also the int-sl+ tach wire to the rs wire, orange acc1 to orange acc under column. also the gray door lock is +12v pulse so I switched the input jumper to (+) pulse and now the int-sl+ programmed with no problem but still no start.

What happens when you try a R/S?  Any Parking Light flashes, instrument panel indications, etc?

You could use a chassis ground jumper wire to the INT-SL+'s door lock & unlock inputs to see if that works OK.  Same for the
Parking Light input wire.  Just to verify the INT-SL+ and the programming.

Next, you could set the Activation Input back to (-), disconnect the connection to the Lock Motor wire and manually touch that
Activation wire to chassis ground the required number of times.  See if the truck starts then.

Ok I grounded the int-sl+ lock/ unlock inputs and they activate same for the parking lights input I switched input to (-) and manually grounded the activation input and nothing no instrument panel lights or anything , the rs led lights solid for 5 seconds when it's powered up then goes out ,when the activation input is grounded when powered up the led blinks 5 times then goes out . It's has never attempted to start or any had any signs of starting

Do the Shutdown Diagnostics give any indication of the no R/S issue?

You could double check the Brake Input to make sure it only goes to +12V when the brake pedal is depressed.  Also make sure the Hood Pin Input wire is NOT grounded.

No it doesn't show any shutdown diagnostics when I hold the valet button with the key on and off. I'm wondering if its a defective unit because I get +12v when brake pedal is pushed and the hood pin is not connected yet .

You do not permanently ground the activation input wire and power on the unit. Doing so simply toggles between esp/d2d. Your door locks are reverse polarity, meaning your activation wire rests at ground. You need to use a relay and isolate it from the car side.
Disconnect the WHITE/ blue wire from your lock wire temporarily. Power on the unit as you would. Verify you have power and ground to the bypass module. Once that checks out, start the car and program tach. Now, take the WHITE/ blue activation and tap it to ground one time. This will activate the start. take note if ignition turns on, radio on, start or no start, attempt to crank? etc.

after all checks out, program activation pulses to 3. Menu 2, Feature 5, option 3

also you're missing 2 acc wires.
