I've seen a lot of his posts he definitely knows what he's doing I was hoping he would see my post and reply. Im at the point now that I think I have a defective part. I have the power wires and ground connected and the control center light will not come on.

Why dont you start by listing all the connections you made from the viper unit and bypass module to the vehicle ?

Why not use a EVO-ALL or INT-SL? these will control door locks as well as transponder.

Well it looks like one of the problems is that the interface I have will not work with a Viper system, according to Best Buy. So what EVO-ALL or INT-SL systems would you suggest? The place I bought the system from said they will take it back.

I would have rather just had one professionally installed but I live 1.5 hrs away from the closest place that can do that. I'm going to send the Viper back. I have a Fortina interface but I guess that only works with Compustar systems. What suggestions do you guys have for a remote start/alarm that will either work with my interface or even better will work without an interface all together? I've done RS in the past but they were always on work trucks that had few electronics. I dont have the factory FOBs so I need a system that has its own fobs, the Carion System thats in it now has it own fibs and thats all I have.

What Fortin bypass do you have? I've used them with Viper systems.

Just looking for suggestions on a Remote Start/keyless entry possibly security too system. I have a data interface its an older one that in the truck already with a Clarion remote start. I dont have the factory FOBs so I cant't use an add-on style. I live 1. hrs away from the nearest installation center so this will be a DIY. Im no expert but I do gave some experience. Is there a plug and play or a system? I prefer to stay away from Viper, they will not help anyone thats not an authorized dealer.

I've decided to remove the Viper and re-install the Clarion for now until I can find a different brand of RS that I can get tech support from the manufacturer. Thank for all the replies!!
