Trunk Auto Relock

Hi all,
I have an aftermarket smart entry system that has a smart door handle on the front door and also a button on the trunk to open the trunk if the keyfob is in proximity.

However, the system keeps the trunk unlocked when I first unlock and to relock it I have to press the lock button on the keyfob otherwise it will keep it unlocked even key is not in proximity and anyone can come near the car and press the button to open the trunk, sometimes I can forget to press lock on the keyfob, which is annoying and can defeat the purpose of not removing the key out of your pocket or bag.

the solution I can think of is to generate a quick negative 12v pulse when the trunk is closed and send that pulse to the smart entry system module so it can lock everything.

if I use a momentary switch that presses with the trunk, can generate a negative when the trunk is closed but it will keep on generating that negative as it kept pressed.

Is there a relay or anything that can generate a quick pulse when it is de-energized? if I connect that to the trunk light and whenever the power cuts off on the trunk light, it sends a short pulse?

or any other solution?

I do not know which of these will work for your trunk light. You will have to determine which will work.
