just wondeing if anyone has installed a r/s k/e on this car before. i am going to install a boa 265b on my roomates car but i need the wiring diagram for this car because i looked on the site but they dont have a protege on here yet. also if anyone has installed an alarm in one of these have you run into any promblems. does anyone know if i need relays for the lites or the locks.

Don't Learn from Others Mistakes
You Might Be the One That Knows.
You will need to relay isolate the lock/unlock system..very important. One wire system will go nuts when tied into aftermarket alarm if you do not relay isolate. I had a 2002 protege and I did the same thing to make the lock/unlock work.. Resistor goes after the relay, not before..
need a little more info about the door locks. still not sure how to hook them up.
