07 Silverado (same as Sierra)
Alarm/Starter: unknown
Databus & Bypass: ADS-DLSL-GM3

okay, i searched Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Avalanche, and Yukon and i still have some questions

1. Which diagram do i use? Astrochart 07 Silverado or 07 Suburban
Shouldn't both wiring code be the same?

2. How do i wire the remote starter? Conflicting Info
        From post:
"This vehicle doe's not have starter wire. The engine will crank on it's own when power is removed from brown wire (accessory), when PK3 + transponder and passlock value are valid."

So do i need to use direct fax 1605 or no starter wire need? (same as direct fax 1605)
Avalanche post
     From post:
"Did the install yesterday- all went great after I discovered that the CAN SL2 actually "introduces the starter wire through a 1280 ohm resistor for you" I had wired the R/S starter wire through a 1280 ohm resistor to the the white start wire in ignition harness- as well as hooked up the CAN SL2 as instructed-- the CAN SL2 programmed fine- but when I tried to R/S - the engine did not crank!! - so I figured my resistor was off- or my R/S starter wire was inop- so I cut the resistor and start wire out to measure the voltage- and the truck now starts!!! wth - with no start wire needed---- SO my point is why did not the CAN SL2 instructions have a sidenote that states-- "HEY you don't need to wire in a start wire from your R/S unit when using this module" -----would have made a lot more sense and save me over an hour- hunting a resistor wiring, dubugging etc....."

3. Any tips to running a siren wire to the hood?

4. Any other info i should know?

btw, dont usually do American cars.
thanks in advanced for any help

My guess is the only wires that needs to be wired to the car is 12v, ignition, accessory, parking light, data wire, brake, passlock wires and im done?

There are two security issues on these vehicles. Passlock and transponder (PK3+). A little more complex than normal but once the unit is bench wired it's really pretty easy.
