Which got me thinking- bogucki wouldn't have had this issue if he'd had a place to check before the install for known issues with that specific vehicle. What I'm imagining is something like the "Vehicle Wiring" button we've got now, but for a list of known issues by make/model/year, and maybe a corresponding forum to go with it. So for example, if you clicked on Ford/2006 Fusion, you'd get a link to the post with the TBS describing the heating issue and any other relevant posts, so you could go check that before an install just like you normally would check the wiring. Might save some folks a lot of hassle...
Further suggestion: if you added a mechanism for people to nominate threads for inclusion, it might make it easier to get off the ground.
If I see enough topics that fall into this category to warrant adding this new forum, I'll add it.

Some of the posts you listed above simply say there is a TSB or there may be a TSB, but do not display the TSB. Currently there is a miscellaneous (Misc.) entry in the vehicle wiring application that can be used for such info and in a few cases is used for such info, but I just added a dedicated TSB field. As I see information about "known issues", I'll add them to the appropriate field/record or create a new one if need be.
I've also added a new category to the
downloads application for "Vehicle Technical Service Bulletins" that any member may add files to if they have them.
