got an install comeing in for a cd player. i cant find any wireing diagram for acura legend with bose. i didnt think acura came with bose but there is bose all over the interior. any help? 12volt, installz, installdr only show non amped.

I hope you are using wiring harness. If you are using Metra product it will be the 70-1720 harness. There is one a 70-1720 premium harness (I don't remember the model number of it) with RCA input if the headunit you are installing has front and rear RCA output. Make the job a lot easiler. You will need to power up the factory amp (blue white wire). If you need to get to the factory amp it is located behind the left rear seat with the car forward facing.

the harness has already been cut off. thats why im looking for the color codes, i would never cut a harness.

Then the wire color is the same as these.

You need to trigger the factory amp to get the sound to back speaker. If I remember correctly only rear speaker are run by the factory amp.

Run new speaker wire the the rear speaker. Its a very easy car to do. A few bolts holding the rear seat together only.
