putting xk532 bypass module in a 05 chrysler 300. i can't get the pku module to program to the car. tried the instructions over and over. had the engine light come on at one point and had a dealership clear all the codes. it still wont prgram. I am on my second xk532 thinking the first one was defective. anybody got any suggestions? the r/starter works fine if you leave a key in the ignition. please anyone the customer is waiting for their vehicle.

Take apart the module to expose the chip inside and try the programming sequence again. I just did ont with the Fortin module and had no problems with it programming. Make sure that you have two distict keys because if you have cloned keys, the programming will not work. To know if you have a cloned key, during the programming sequence the red LED will not flash to indicate that you are in programming mode.

Also, I've notice that some Chrysler vehicles that seemed not to have programmed ( because it did not react according the the instructions ) actually did program. To test this, after the programming sequence with the module place the chip against the ignition column and try to remote start the vehicle. If it does, then your gold, if not then try the programming once again.

This is the easiest way I have found to program the 532 first of all remove the board from the 532(it does not need any wires hooked up to program)take 1 key apart so that you can take the circuit board out, put that key in the ignition and turn to on (the board has to be in but the battery does not) wait 5 seconds then take that key out and quickly put the next key in and turn ignition to on wait 10 seconds, while waiting take the circuit board out of key 1 so it is just a skeleton after 10 seconds take that key out and put the skeleton key in with the 532 circuit board as close to the ring around the ignition as possible (the part that sticks up near the center of one end is the chip that needs to program so thats what needs to be near the ring) and turn key on hold the 532 board in place and wait 30 seconds or until the car beeps this works every time and is much easier than anything else. hope it helps.

i found chrysler chip such a pain in the ass i felt like smashing them

ever since i started doing that they all program perfectly

i found that unless the chip was in just the right perfect spot would it program

I've noticed that if you program the 532 for the locks, (by turning the key on with the bypass mod powered up) it won't program for the bypass. I tried over and over on one mod and when I finally tried a new one, it worked like a charm. Thought I had a bad mod but the same thing happened a few days later.
