scytek astra 4000rs on a 2005 scion xb

Just wanted to close the loop on this. I waited a couple of days to make sure no other issues would pop up before responding.

Picked up a 1N4001 diode from Radio shack and connected it (band towards the vehicle) to the Pin 4 Green Negative Door Input (-) wire and re-connected it to the vehicles RED / White wire.  No "open door warning light" and everything seems to be working great!  I'm gonna call this a done deal for now.

I was thinking of adding a window roll up/down module  in the future and when I get a power sunroof, an auto close module for that. So I might need advice at a later date, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
