I have a 2001 ford focus, 4 door, se, with keyless entry. I need the wiring diagram for the focus, and the wiring diagram for the keyless entry because the remote start uses the existing keyless remote.

PATS system is built ontot he side of the ignition cylinder. You will require a working PATS key and a bypass module in order to bypass the system.

remote start for 2001 ford focus -- posted image.On the keyless entry module I need to hook up to a negative trigger input from the 2nd or 3rd channel output thatprovides a momentary negative (-) signal. What wire would this be on the keyless entry module. A wir diagram would help alot.

The easiest way to disable the factory transponder is to remove the transponder from a working key by removing the red or black lug at the base of key or if the key has a light or remote cdl fitted it will be a glass piece with a coiled up wire in it ,,,,remove it and hot glue it to the inside of the steering cowling.....this is what we do on the UK spec vehicles if having remote start...good luck

When I installed a Remote Start in a 2001 Focus the vehicle sometimes started by remote and sometimes did not.  What could be the cause of this someone told me that the focus's run a 14 volt starter system
