hello i am kind of a newbie.....i have installed an alarm once in a 2000 chevy malibu..........

i have a 2005 chevy aveo base and am going to  install a crime stopper cs2016fm alarm and remote start....

two questions:

1.   the wiring diagram says my car has a key sense wire...what is that?

2.   and since this is the base aveo...(meaning im pretty sure it has no immoblizer).....it should not need any bypass modules or anything like that right?....it is bare bones with no power anything...i am going to install power lock kit though for the alarm

the installation guide is quite goog for this alarm...so i should not have much problems

any help would be appreciated

immobilizer is only offered on the LT models, so you dont need a bypass.

thx gcorrea.....now what about the key sense wire.....do i need to hook that up to the remote start/alarm in any way....or do i leave it alone......isnt it just so that annoying beep can go off when you have your key in?...any feedback would be helpful thanks
