I was tired of my stock chevy intake, and aftermarket parts are hard to come by for a 2 post throttle body so i made a new intake.

stock intake-

construction- I made the base out of 1/2" mdf and pvc pipe. I use an aluminum sleeve to attach the filters. I cut the bottom out of my stock intake and fiberglassed it to the bottom of the mdf to allow it to mount up like a stock intake.

Looks great, may want to consider moving the air filter though,.

heats not a big issue with no inner fenders, not to mention that all the air under there is hot. plus im gonna do ceramic headers

yeah, that looks great, but 6" from the exhaust manifold on each side? I would run 2 chrome tubes right up beside the fan shroud. That's just my 2 cents though.
