Im going to put a KickerL7 15" sub with a KICKER ZX1000.1 mono amp in my Camry but need some advice.
Here is my current setup

As you can see the box is huge, I made it to spec for my two diamonds and for one 15" L7 is about the same size as the box I have now.
So all that being said, I have some questions
1) Since the box is so big, would it be wise to turn the subs around, facing them to the back seat?
2) I would like to pretty up the trunk and build a wall to mount my amp on, but im afraid it will restrict the bass from getting into the car.(Here is a ROUGH sketch of my idea)

Here is a pic that kind of explains what I want, but obviously my box will be bigger.

To an amplifier, vibration is the enemy.  According to your diagram, it appears that you are mounting the amp to the box.  I strongly reccomend you find somewhere else to mount it.

Sounds like a plan, you have any input on whether to go sealed or ported with a 15" l7? and also which way should I face such a monster box, the trunk or toward the front?

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
