starter kill not working

well i think it should look more like this.
30-Keyside start wire
87a-Starter side
87-Not used
85-Ground when armed
86-12V constant(not ignition)
this is for a starter interrupt, if you want to make a starter anti-grind, then 85 and 86 would be wired differently. in which case, 85 would go to a ground when running(or - status wire) and 86 would go to an ignition wire.

The above wiring will have the relay energized anytime the alarm is armed.  This will run your battery down after a few days.  If it is a daily driver you will have no problems.  If it sits for a few days, have a jump box or jumper cables.  By connecting 86 to the keyside of the starter wire, the only time the relay will pull ANY current is when the vehicle is trying to start.  Thus no extra drain on your battery.
