Pioneer Premier DEH-P790BT (head unit)

Lanzar VIBE416 (AMP 1)

4 channel 1000 watts high power mosfet amplifier

Lanzar VIBE256 (AMP 2)

2 channel 1600 watts high power mosfet amplifier

Pioneer Premier TS-W1207D4(SUBS)

The main power cord from the battery runs to a distribution block that then runs to amp 1 and amp 2. Amp 1 is connected to the rear speakers and the driver side front speaker. Amp 2 is connected to the sub woofers.

The problem : I just got done wiring the driver side front speaker through the door molex as shown in this awesome how-to https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~78731~PN~1. Then shortly after there seems to be a higher pitched whining sound that can be heard through the whole system in my car. The sound is prominent when the motor itself is actually running and cannot really be heard when I just have the key turned for the music to play(motor not running). I was wondering if anyone had suggestions to what it might be. I checked many of the wires to see if they had gone bad and were sending bad feedback but none of them seemed to be the problem.

Thanks

was the sound there before you wired through the Molex plug?  If not, then you may have a pinched wire that is grounding out.

If it was there before going through the Molex, or you didn't try that, then check your grounds.
