I have a 03 Chrysler 300M and am trying to hook up a remote start with alarm "Prestige". I am using a bypasskit data bus CHDL2 PK, and for some reason its not reading the transponder bypass portion. Does anyone have any ideas, I have went step by step on how to program it and everything went right word for word off instructions but still no luck. I even went and purchased a universal bypass and using a key and it's still not working All the extras work ie. doorlocks, dome light illumination, trunk, parking lights, windows down, alarm. Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks Brandon

If you used a universal and a key and its still not working then its not the bypass thats your issue.   When you say its not working, does try to crank?  Does it crank at all?  does the security light flash?

I believe they do i have the wiring diagrams and all off of alldata and wire codes off of Tech Systems/Code services security light doesn't flash

Did you check the BLACK/ white wire. This wire is a what Audiovox calls the control safety switch. It is normal hooked up to ground with the switch that came in the box. If this wire doesn't see ground the car will not even attempt to start. Also check the gray wire at the brain (if you hooked it up) it is the hood pin and if it sees negitive (hood up) the car won't attempt to start.
