I have installed an automatic door opener. it is connected only to the drivers door. It goes through my alarm remote on one of the aux channel. I have one more aux channel and I would liek to do the same to the passenger side?

I'm not sure what you're asking, but if you have one more aux channel and the door soloniod or opener, it looks like you're set.

Hi 4x4store, assuming you added an actuator to physically open the door (not unlock it),  do the same as you did with the driver's door...install the door opener and use a relay triggered by the auxillary channel to operate it.

I did this on an '89 Mustang. I shaved the handles, disabled the door locks, and used the alarm system's "unlock" wire to trigger the driverside door-pop solenoid. I used the "trunk release" wire to trigger the passengerside door-pop solenoid, as the trunk release function also triggers the "unlock" wire simultaneously.

In operation, disarming the alarm with the arm/disarm button also pops the driver's door. Disarming with the 2nd function button (trunk pop) pops both doors. I used the 3rd function to pop the trunk lock.

I have not heard of a door popper ever getting stuck closed ( unless you installed one where the winters froze doors closed ). What I encourage customers to do is to have a window module back up so if the door popper solenoid ever seizes, then you can remote open the windows and access the door through the windows.

My alarm, a crimestopper that i got off ebay for $75, has the option to push the unlock/disarm button one and it will disarm the car, and unlock the driver door, then you could make that also open the driver door.  Then when you hit the unlock/disarm button again within 2 or 3 seconds it will unlock the passenger door (and the back if its a 4 door. So you could use that to pop the passenger door.
