If you unplug the radio and just leave the power connected....red,yellow, black....does it still have the same problem?

is it possible that one of the speakers blew or is grounding out? I have the same radio and i never have had any issues with it.

There is a inline fuse on the yellow wire its in that clear/white looking barrel.

A speaker grounding out wouldnt cause the h/u to not power up,neither would a blown speaker. I will look again but i havent seen a white barrel looking thing attached to the yellow wire.

I checked all the way up the harness and there is a constant 12.3 without the motor on ,with the motor on there is a constant 14.13.
so it has to be the h/u !!! also i found the 10a fuse changed it and nothing.
My setup is as follows :
2 re audio 12's wired to 2ohms on a memphis mcd 500 watt monoblock
mb quart fsa 216 6.5 component speakers wired in stereo to kenwood 500 x4 and tang band 3" drivers wired in stereo to kenwood amp as well ,monster cap still reading constant 14.3 with truck on.hope that helps.

I'll say it one more time: take it back for warranty repair.  If you bought it on line and must get an RMA and deal with the mail, well that's the result of your purchasing choice.  But there is no need to continue this discussion when you've gotten your answer multiple times.
