There is a small black box on the lower right drivers side fuse box on my 1999 Camry CE. It is not included on the fuse box diagram. It fell out several months ago while I was installing remote door locks. The car seems to be functioning well without this (except that the automatic door locks don't work with or without this installed). Is this a fuse that is blown? or is it something else that I should leave for a Toyota dealer to replace. I included a picture. Thanks,

Looks like a circuit breaker. It's possibly bad, and that's why the locks don't work either way. Look for a spare somewhere. If no spares, borrow one from a nother location.

Why not check the continuity across the two posts of the breaker to see if it is really bad. Good continuity will mean problems elsewhere in the vehicle. That would be where I would start.

I have figured out what was wrong with my locks (completely different problem - a circuit board was burned out). I am still curious as to what this is. There is no continuity across the two posts and since I got my locks fixed the car seems to function 100% without it. Is it possible this is just some kind of blank to fill an unused spot in the fuse box?
