I listed the remote number RPN7701 V/P/X, the same LCD remote thats pictured in the manual. I was told that was the one to get. I do have the ground wire to Neg, and the 4 wire antenna connected. I don't have the harness that has the yellow wire for IGN but I have that terminal connected to a switched 12v toggle on my workbench to simulate IGn +. The only thing I don't have hooked up are like a trunk or hood pin trigger, remote start satellite relays, shock, motion, perimeter sensors, glass break...none of that as I didn't think any of that is needed to just be able to program the brain to the remote. Is there anything else i need to connect to program the brain? Does this brain, the 881XP only work with the LCD remote?

This is the Exact system I have:
881XP
I am missing some items however. Does anyone on here have a 7 pin harnesses (remote start harness in the middle of the photo with the yellow wires) that you don't need just laying around? any Spare DEI components wires etc. you might want to get rid of?

You should probably just buy a new unit. The monkeys at car lots and dealerships just randomly cut and rip stuff out.

lets hope the units you have are not shorted out, while they jsut yanked the crap out of it.

the 7pin harness is the ribbon cable that connects to the XCRS relay pack. If you dont have it then the brain wont get power. you wont have ign, acc, start, startkill outputs either.
