Here is a link to Bulldog Security web site.  You can get the basic wiring guide there.   http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/vehiclewiringdiagrams.asp    This site also has the wiring gude for your car.  Remember these wire listings are only a guide and all wires should be verified with a Digital Multi Meter.

Most Remote Start units directly support the Pilots Type B (-) door locks.    Check to see if your unit outputs a (-) negative pulse for Lock and UnLock.  The standard .7 second (-) pulse is fine.  After locating the correct wires in the car you can directly attach the R/S's lock & unlock wires to the cars wires.

Soldering is fun!

hi! im using the fortin HONDA -SL3 bypass for 2007 honda pilot. do i need to hook up the ignition wire of the r/s unit to the vehicle?

on the installation guide of the HONDA-SL3 bypass,  the ignition wire of the vehicle is hook up to the yellow wire of HONDA-SL3. do i need to hook up the ignition wire of the R/S unit to the vehicle?

The Fortin Honda SL3 Yellow wire goes to the RED / White ignition wire at the cars Ignition Barrel (same connector as the Security Lamp and Data wire).  The R/S's heavy gauge Ignition wire goes to the cars BLACK / YELLOW ignition wire in the ignition switch harness.

Soldering is fun!
