Hello All,

I purchased a used Chevy Avalanche and to my surprise it had a remote starter. From what I gather, it is an Astroflex Model MV, Part #392-127-300 and Part # 392-908-122 Now from reading some of the forums, apparently those part numbers don't mean to much.  I found a local dealer who is pretty much worthless and hasn't called me back after muliple attempts by me to contact them and even stopping at the store. All I'm looking for is what remote do I need and how to program it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.astroflex model mv - Last Post -- posted image.

Ok all,

I found out some information on my own from help from another astrostart installer, in another state. I apparently need a 711TX or 613TX remote (One is for just starting and the other has unlock/lock as well), which hopefully I can find one on Ebay. If I find one, is this how I get it programmed? Push dipswitch 8 up, hold  the brake down, hold any buton for 3 seconds. a red light on the brain should flash, flip dipswitch 8 down and hit the brake again. This should start the truck and and unlock/lock the doors ????????

Thanks
