Transmitter shutdown (or optional push button)
Hello
Does anyone know what this means? I got that error on 2012 4runner g key, 4103 avital rs. Xk05 bypass.
Note: the bypass light stays on solid and will not go off during programming procedure of the xk05. Did the shutdown diagnosics. led flashes 4. Car crank but will not start.
Thanks.

its simply a bypass issue. It shut down because it wasn't able to start. If I'm not mistaken the xk05 doesn't support G keys which are 80bit keys.

hello

I didn't know this.  My friend owns a shop and he told me use XK05.  I guess he didn't realize it's a G key either even I told him.  What is the recommended combo bypass I should you?  Thanks..Ted

If he suggested the xk05, i assume he is a Directed dealer. The only combo bypass would be the xpresskits DBALL. Other alternatives are the idatalink ADS-AL-CA, ADS-DLSL CA2 or fortin key override all(transponder only)

I only have PKALL right now. Does that work or I will have to order the bp that you recommended? Thanks.

Hello
i also have a flăshlogic FLCAN programmed for 2005 4runner. I assume this will not work until I program it for 2012 4runner? Thanks.

The FL CAN should work but yes, it will need to be flashed with the proper firmware. It needs the FLC-AL(DL)-TL4 (V1.11) firmware in order to work with the 2012 4Runner. If you cannot find someone to flash it for you, PM me and if you send it to me I can attempt to flash it for you. You just cover shipping charges.
The PK ALL will also work with that vehicle, but it will also require a firmware update for the vehicle. The PK ALL will also ONLY integrate the transponder and will not work all of the other functions like the FL CAN (locks, factory security, etc)

Of the bunch, the FLCAN is the best bypass module to use for your purposes. all in one combo solution. just make sure you have the correct flash as Kenny mentioned.

hello
I installed the RS with FLCAN flashed for 2012 4runner 4gkey. It worked many times and i was driving around town to test the system. However, this evening, after getting out from sears, the system did not start. It started and died right away. I have to reconnect the IMI wire that was cut to jump start the car.
Is it something to do with the bypass that reset itself? Any idea? and the Shutdown diagnosic led flashes 4.

sounds like a bypass issue. Did you solder your connections?
