i just installed a stereo into my truck. everything works fine....BUT for some reason when ever i turn off my ignition all my settings get erased. so when i turn the truc back on i have to reprogram everything. Not even the radio stations i save in the memory work.
could someone please tell me hat the poblem might be and\or how to fix it?
                           I would appritiate it greatly

You have your yellow and red wires switch around in your installation. Your YELLOW wire is supposed to be the constant power and the RED is your switched ignition wire.

Jeff nailed it.  Switch the wires and let us know what happens.
