Nope. not for Anti-Grind, as the Trailblazer has this feature already built in. Just connect the Viper H3/2 Violet directly to the uncut Trailblazer Yellow Starter wire.

If the OP wants some type of Starter Kill, then a cut is required.  Wiring shown above.

Personally, unless customer requested, I try to stay away from cutting any ignition wires.  I solder everything, but adding a relay to any circuit introduces a possible point of failure.

Soldering is fun!

Fantastic!! Thanks so much to you and Frank for all your help!  I'll tackle the install tomorrow.  Looks like on the programming all I need to  the 2ND IGN IN VIPER SETTINGS TO PREVENT CEL and to set it as automatic transmission.  Hopefully that won't be too confusing lol

Might want to switch to Engine Checking = Tach Mode ( if it doesn't do it automatically ) and do a Tach Learn.   ( Not a big fan of Virtual Tach )

If the Tach Learn is not successful, you might have to hardwire the Tach between the DB-ALL and the Viper.

Soldering is fun!

Kregg, no way can Howard improve on the job you and Frank have done here.
I must further agree with Kregg though on NEVER cutting the ignition, does the OP want a poor (it can happen to all of us) or dry joint to come apart at 70mph whilst you're passing someone?

I'll go ahead and hardwire that wire before the install to not have to worry about it.

Well it's all installed and looks to be working properly!
I do have a couple programming questions though.
#1. Does the DB-ALL auto sense manual or automatic tranny? I don't see a programming option to change it.
#2. Frank mentioned to program the 2nd IGN in the viper. How would it know if it's properly programmed?
5 PINK/WHITE (+) PROGRAMMABLE OUTPUT FOR ACCESSORY OR IGNITION <-- White Ignition2 wire at steering column connector - LOOKS GOOD! - MAKE SURE TO PROGRAM TO 2ND IGN IN VIPER SETTINGS TO PREVENT CEL MAKE SURE TO PROGRAM TO 2ND IGN IN VIPER SETTINGS TO PREVENT CEL

Both covered by the Viper (not DBall) programming.

X2 with Howard.

Don't think the Viper 4103 is manual trans capable.  Didn't see any programming option for it in the install guide found in the Downloads section.

The Viper should come set for Flex Relay = IGN2 as that is the Factory Default setting.  As far as verifying it is a IGN2 output, put a DMM on it and watch it thru a remote start cycle.  It shouldn't drop during cranking as an accessory circuit does.

Soldering is fun!

kreg, you are correct, the 4103 is for auto trans only.
Glad to hear it's all working. Great job!!
