I have a 554t installed on a 99 Saab 9-3. While installing my 529t my battery completely drained. The dome lights were off and the radio was not on. After jump starting the vehicle, the time and radio presets were normal. The 529T works fine and the car started the next morning. I decided to re-arrange some of wiring and modules, and the battery drained again 45min-1hr. Radio on dome lights off.
Any answer would be appreciated.

Hmmm...that's a tough one....did this ever happen before you installed the 529t? Or did you install the alarm and the 529t at once?
The only thing that I could possibly come up with is that maybe if you tested the 529t too much with the car off, (assuming that you're using it for the sunroof), that maybe you drained the battery by opening and closing the sunroof too many times? I'm just going by what someone said to me once that you shouldn't open and close the sunroof with the car not running too many times because I'll drain my battery. I'm not sure how true it is...but its one idea.

Thanks for the replies. I have installed the 529t a few weeks after installing the 554t. I have worked on my car before with the door open/dome lights off and radio on sometimes without any problems previously.
I believe the culprit may have been a loose ground connection in addition to using my sunroof to many times. (possibly during my re-arrangement). I thought i seen a previous thread where the faulty starter kill relay may cause battery starting/battery problems????
