I have just finished the install of a Viper 4806V w/DBALL2 in my Honda Element. Unfortunately, I can't get the door locks to work. The DBALL2 appears to be receiving the unlock/lock commands from the 4806V but it is unable to unlock the truck. I have tried to connect the Yellow/Black (Door Lock Data Wire on DBALL2) to Blue/Orange (Keyless Entry Data) on the Honda at the keyless module and behind the the fuse panel without success. Does anyone have any suggestions?

So does that mean every feature the DBALL2 is supposed to support via the data wire needs to be hardwired?

my experience has been hit or miss with the dball. assuming you tagged the correct blue/orange wire, it should work. If it doesn't I would just hardwire the locks from the 4706v to the car, and be thankful that dball works for the transponder.

I just received an email from the manufacturer suggesting I do the same. You would think that they would either update the firmware to make sure DBALL2 is compatible or remove the Honda Element from the list. What a waste of time.
