ok i have heard rumours going around my area that there is a 23" sub, this true that any kind of company makes a sub like that for car stereo or not and what is the company, also if you could, name all the sizes of subwoofers you have heard and seen before, i know myself seen that MTX and other companies have made subs like 63" and such but other than that i have only seen 8,10,12,13,15, and 18" subs

never heard of a 23" sub.  I have heard of the 36" audiobahn and all I can say is it's just sicksubwoofer sizes - Last Post -- posted image.

If you count bazooka tubes, then throw in the 6.5" size as well.  Also JL makes the W7 in a 13.5" size.

Focal has 5 3/8, 11, 13, 15 inch subs...  and rather than to SPL, the diameter has to do with the frecuencies to reproduce , in other words, with an 18 inches you may obtain the same SLP but at lower Hz  than with a 12, and reproduce lower frecs.

I became interested in the 23" one... and looking around, I found this.... take a look, it's worth it... it made me laugh a lot, and made me think a lot, also! http://neurosis.mit.edu/mjolnir/
