im building an encloser for my car and i was calc. it on the calc. page. the encl. is going to be 16" high, 9.75" wide, and 11' deep. it needs to be 0.65 for a sealed encl. but i was thinking that when i install the sub it will be under 0.65. so a friend told me to calc it to 0.75 and after i install the sub it will be at 0.65. is this right. the sub is a soundstorm ssc-10dvc.

As far as i know, when manufacturers give the airspace recommendations, they already include the area of the subwoofers basket.  So i would build it to .65 cf.
