I'm finally getting around to install the alarm system in my '90 300ZX. All going smooth until the window control module. I have the wiring diagram, I found wher 12 volts comes into the window switch, but can't find where it comes out when the up button is pushed? Acording to the diagram pins 3 & 4 should be connected when the window is going up, one of them always has 12 volts, the other never shows 12 volts? Up down sideways, etc. I never saw 12 on the other pin? It started raining so I came inside & asked here. The diagram is available online at:

http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=bf&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=12&design=default&total=46

If that long link gets butchered try http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi

& then body section, then doors.

Thanks!

  • LF WINDOW UP/DN-----------blu/wht - green
  • RF WINDOW UP/DN-----------wht/blk - blk/yel

Try these wires , this is for a US version 300 XZ, and I don't know if it is different than the UK version. You should be able to tap into these wires listed and hook them up to the window control module. To verify, you can cut the BLUE/WHITE wire in 2 and try to roll the driver side window up. If this does not work , then you have the right wire.
