I've heard from some people that the 2000's need the immobilizer bypass in order to get the remote start to work, while others say it's post-2000 626's. Anyone have any additional info to support either way, as the wiring diagram doesn't reference it. Thanks in advance.

The 2000 Mazda 626 requires a universal bypass module in order for the RS to operate and bypass the Immobilizer system.
