explorer hook up

Im trying to hook up my alpine head unit to my ford explorer, 99, but the wire block things doing fit in it!?, theres only one slot for something to go in the head unit, so i bought wire harness, and theres a block with a bunch of wires..How do I hook this up?

depending on the compatibility of the harness (it might not be right), you can hack up the harness and solder the cables to the right places using diagrams and cable markers.  I suggest shrink tubing the soldered joints as well, just remember to put the shrink tubing on first.

i have no clue what you just said,.  where do i hook up all these loose wires at from the 'harness' i bought at the store.

unclealp your going to have to tell us more information about your car. Do you have a 2 or 4 door car, does it have a MACH audio system, does it have a Premium sound system or does it have neither? Then we can tell you if you purchased the right wiring harness and how to install your alpine stereo.
