Hi Guys/Girls (got to be PC)  2001 Civic Rattle Machine - Last Post -- posted image.

I was wondering if anyone has a 2001-2003 Honda civic coupe and has installed a system into it.  If you are one then you know as well as I do that you have created a rattle machine.  LOL

I would like to hear from anyone who has worked with this vehicle and have found ways to elimanate or deminish the rattle.  I would also welcome anyone else's suggestions.  I have shored up the license plate (that was easy)

Concidering current gas prices,  please keep in mind cost.  LOL

Thanks

Sound dampening.   Brown bread is the good stuff and cheaper than Dynamat.  Check it out.

What's rattilin? How are your subs facing? I had a similar problem with my saturn. (please no saturn jokes) 2001 Civic Rattle Machine - Last Post -- posted image. so here's what i found helps about 2-3 layers of dynamat and 10 cans of that insulating foam. inject that crap into every crack and crevis and not only will it not rattle but if you use enough of it you car can float 2001 Civic Rattle Machine - Last Post -- posted image.. i dont know if you want to do that to a new car, but its cheap and it works.

On an older civic that I had, I moved the latch on the trunk down as far as I could so that I really had to slam the trunk for it to close.  It holds the trunk down better.
