Sound Pressure

Is the new 2000 Nissan Maxima with a seperate amp for the internal speakers, or are the speakers themselves self amplified? What will need to be bypassed? All new wiring ran like the older systems?

It would probably be better to just run new speaker wires to all your speakers and bypass and amps that are in there from factory.
