My car has quite a mass of wiring and the previous install did not have a switched positive at the HU.  I've found one, but with the ignition in the off position, this positive turns into a ground.  Is this OK?

Thanks.

The wire you are looking for should be hot (+12V) when the car is in acc and run, ground when off and start.
