For those of you using mold fabric from Select Products, what weight do you recommend for kicks?  I'm also interested in knowing what type of grill metal is recommended from Select.  Ease of use, sonic transparency, etc is what I'm looking for.  Thank you

I would suggest using grill cloth (the stuff that covers home speakers) for kick pods. Maby wrap it 2 times. Or you can always go to walmart and get the thinest fleece they have, it works just as good. Grill cloth is better for kick pods though
dream it, build it, fiberglass it

I use the micro mold fabric. I don't like the regular stuff because resin will not soak all the way through unless you thin it. The micro mold fabric will be strong enough after the first coat of resin that it won't warp bad when you reinforce it.
