RAY562: 1) Locate the 2-way programming connector taped to a wiring harness in the drivers side of the trunk. The programming connector will have a TAN wire and a BLACK wire. Short the two wires at the programming connector together. The doors will lock then unlock.

2) Press any buttom on the transmitter. The doorlocks will cycle, which confirms receipt of the transmitter code.

3) If a second transmitter is desired, it must also be programmed at this time by repeating step 2.

4) Remove the short from the programming connector to exit the programming mode.

Max. # of Xmts.= 2          Max. Range = 25 ft.

One addendum: when I added a second remote  to my '98 Sunfire (which in all likelihood has the identical EOM keyless entry system to the '69 described above), process was as follows:

1. Short the two wires in the programming connector as described in prior post (connector is located in left side of trunk, by the way).  Locks will cycle.

2. After locks cycle, simultaneously hold down BOTH the lock and unlock buttons on one remote.  Hold them down until the locks cycle again (NOTE: THIS CAN TAKE UP TO 45 SECONDS TO OCCUR).

- Once locks cycle, repeat the process described in step two with the SECOND remote.  Again, it may take up to 45 seconds for the locks to cycle.

- After locks cycle for second remote, unshort the connectors.  Both remotes should now properly lock and unlock the doors and pop the trunk.

Also, if you want info on how to add a parking light flash feature to the Pontiac EOM keyless system (it doesn't come with one), let me know.  I figured out how to do this using just a few relays and diodes.
