i want to redo my dash in fiberglass. where do i start? i want to leave the design alone but just add places for screens and extra's. where do i start.

damn what a coincident, another soooopra want to redo their dash. jeff(Velocity Motors) gave me some idea to get another dash from the jyard and basically strip the top layer of the vinyl and cover it w/ f-glass.

do i just cut it out, and how do i start? what step's should i follow. and where the radio and heat control are i want to fill in to put a screen and move everthing else.

i havent done anything to mine, but test it out on a dash from the jyard so you can drive ur car around. i suggest go to a jyard and get an old dash to wrk w/.
uncover the vinyls/cushions and fglass it, i guess. theres nothing the the resin cant stick to, then bondo it to smooth it out. the radio/heater area is up to ur creativity and imaginations and have to fabricate ur own space to fit ur screen or whatever.
i dont know what to tell cause i havent mess around w/ it yet but whatever it is you want, it can be done....
