I'm helping a a friend put subs his audi tt 2oo1. It has a bose speaker system. i think its premium sounds. so the deck doesnt have the sub preout. where do i splice in the converter to go to the amp to power the subs? also how can u wire in the remote turn on? if i do need to go behind the radio how can i get it out. he said theres like a spot for metal keys or a tool to release it? please help me out

you need the audi factory radio keys, the slots are in the bottom of the deck. Where are you putting subs in a TT, there is no room.
Want to know about Audi, I thought you did.

radio removal keys are the same as those for a mercedes too. there's not much to gain in removing the deck though, because it's wiser to get the speaker wiring that you need at the factory amp, which is on the passenger side in the area between the trunk and the c**kpit. the most appropriate accessory turn-on wire is BROWN / red from the ignition harness, or you should be able to find another wire to do a similar function at the factory amp itself.

If it uses the same keys as Mercedes, you can use some Kenwood keys, but jimmeezgolfvr6 is correct.  You shouldn't need to remove the radio- you can get your wires at the amp, including turn-on.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
