I am getting conflicting posts about the 2000, 2001 Ram. Do I have to 5-wire or reverse Polaity the lock or unlock wires? Thanks guys!

Is "#203 Reversal rest at ground" like the "5 Wire Alternating 12 Volts Positive Door Locks" at https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#5w ? Thanks

i have seen some with a negative wires for locks through some resistors.
