Hey asiaadad,

You definitely have a tach learning problem even though you're on the correct wire but it has nothing to do with the passlock.  Does your remote starter have the possibility to manually program the tach?  Can you program it for no tach sensing and go with a 1.5 second crank or thereabouts?

Prepare your future. It wasn't the lack of stones that killed the stone age.

Big Dog is right it sounds like a programming issue. The wire is correct and if everything checks out, what you can do is go straight to an injector and use the uncommon wire for a tach wire. Go through the programming again after you installthis wire and see if it work.
