hello,
battery has been draining on its own lately. im using a 4 ga power wire to a 1 farad capacitor and the fuse blew after jump starting the car with portable jump pack.never had before.
tryed to replace fuse. it blew again and again and again. removed the capacitor and hooked up the power again and the fuse did not blow. does this mean the cap shorted out? was it possibly draining the battery too?

most likely the cap is dead now. but for future references you should always remove your car audio fuse or fuses b4 you jump your vehicle.

well it had voltage in it today so it was holding a charge i guess. i put a light on it and drained the rest of the power out of it. yeah i never thought to remove the fuse from the line first.
