ok ill keep that in mind thanks man i appreciate it, one more thing, is the diodes for the dome light the only diodes ill need or do i need them else where, cf says i need diodes for the dome light, and thats it, the tharnes and what came in the box, plus the diodes will do everything, is this correct?

yeppers, 2-1 amp diodes is all you need to cover the door triggers. If your going to do a trunk release then i'd get a relay to cover that, also if i were you i'd goto circuit city, best buy or a local car stereo shop to get yourself a 451m. That'll make it easier to do the doorlocks, becuz i think it'll need relays for it. I know it might say not to use relay's but i use them anyways just so if something happens it wont fry out the door lock part of the alarm.

they said i wont need relays or diodes for the door locks, just to get the dome light to function, on the door locks they said i just needed to tie into 2 wires

the only relay on this alarm that ive seen is on the t-harness for the column

i can use a regular volt meter for this also correct?

yeppers or even a dig. multimeter...anything BUT a test light. They suck and will harm the computer.

im confused on the doors though, dunno why do i just splice into or cut completely to have it sorta run through,

ive got most of it done, the locks work, but the trigger isnt hooked up yet, i wired into the lights but they arent working, alarm works though, just going by the sensors, is the alarm supposed to beep about 6-8 times real fast when i turn the key on?
