To answer your question about why a second ignition would exist: On GM vehicles the white wire that is one of the more common Ign 2 wires is used for the transmission. If it is not powered during a remote start, the transmission will not be able to shift out of 2nd gear and will likely be damaged. OOps I just saw that someone answered that. Sorry I dont always read the whole thread first. There are other reasons for 2nd ignitions as well and most newer cars have them. There are also 2 Accessory wires on some cars so look out for that. 2 starters is common for Nissan and they are also on Mercury Villagers too for some reason. Hondas dont have 2 starter wires though so if you are going to stick to earlier model Hondas you should have it rather easy.
